It’s incredibly painful to think about the sacrifices made and the changes in mission that led to such tragic outcomes. Patrick’s courage and the difficult choices faced by those in service are a testament to their dedication and bravery. essentially Patrick's life was love. Each letter he wrote to his mom was ending by : spread the love. He was in love with girls, life his brothers of arms, his family, his country and Chute-à-Blondeau. Pat was the kind of son everybody would dream to have in his own family. He was a blessing. His clear blue eyes were reflecting his inner soul, he was lovingly looking at everybody and he was pure tenderness . He was a country boy with strong vitality and an indefectible will to help and cherish everybody. The loss of someone like Patrick feels immense, like a profound and irreplaceable void. When we lose someone who embodies so much love, kindness, and strength, it’s as if part of the world’s beauty and goodness is taken with them. It’s natural to feel as though the Earth itself suffers a loss, as each person who leaves behind such a legacy touches the world in a unique and invaluable way. Grieving for such a loss is both a personal and universal experience, and it's important to honor and remember the impact they had. Time goes by so fast but we remember.
